Presentation Summary: Marist Brothers are an international religious community of more than 4,000 Catholic Brothers dedicated to making Jesus known and loved through the education of young people, especially those most neglected.
In 2022, Marist Brothers embarked on their digital journey. Their goal was to develop a digital identity and program to acquire donors to support their work. Marist Brothers partnered with Data Axle to help navigate this process.
Some of the initial questions Data Axle helped Marist Brother resolve were: - Where do we start? - How do we make an impact with a limited budget? - What results can we expect? - What technology is required to support this effort?
Together the Marist Brothers and Data Axle launched a new online fundraising platform, set up multiple digital advertising channels, developed email series to existing audiences, and established a digital presence. The work ultimately led to the development of a new website bringing together digital best practices and the Marist Brothers mission.
Along the way, the team tested a variety of creative, fundraising tactics, digital channels, audiences, and engagement opportunities. Through it all the teams learned the importance of being agile.
Learning Objectives:
Understanding digital technologies and ad platforms
Where to start and how to prioritize with limited resources
The importance of being agile – and how to learn from results
