Director, Philanthropy & Direct Response
World Food Program USA
Robin Benatti is the Director of Philanthropy and Direct Response for World Food Program USA.
A twenty-six year veteran in the non-profit direct response space, Robin's experience crosses many sectors (cultural, political, human services, international relief, agency) and countries (US, Ireland, UAE).
Robin has dedicated her career to advocating on behalf of donors through leadership roles at the National Museum of Women in the Arts, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, Nexus Direct, and World Food Program USA. She has experience leading direct response programs of all sizes, ranging from programs with very small budgets to robust programs that mail 1M+ acquisition a month and include many channels. She is currently overseeing World Food Program USA's Core and Mid-level donor program and the teams that acquire and steward donors through direct mail, telemarketing, email, SMS and canvassing.
Robin is an active volunteer and speaker within the direct marketing industry, having served on planning committees of several DMAW events and participating in leadership groups like TNPA's Essential Leadership Lab.
A graduate of James Madison University (go Dukes!) with a B.A. in Art History, Robin is a pretend interior designer in her spare time, checking out estate sales and exercising her flea market flip skills. After living in Abu Dhabi for several years, she moved back with her family (husband, two daughters, sister and 175 lbs. English Mastiff) to her childhood home in Alexandria, Virginia, where she has enjoyed flexing those pretend design skills as they renovate it.
