Dana Bond is the Executive Vice President of Strategic Alliances at First Book, an award-winning nonprofit social enterprise focused on removing barriers to educational equity for children in need. Growing up in Milwaukee, WI, Dana lived and attended schools in the exact communities First Book serves. With almost 20 years of experience in sales and marketing in the for-profit and nonprofit space, her passion for education, children, and advocating for underserved communities helps connect some of the world’s most well-known brands to the First Book mission.
Prior to joining First Book, Dana spent 10+ years with Make-A-Wish® America in corporate partnerships, partnership marketing, and brand campaigns. Before her move to the nonprofit sector, Dana started her career in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry working for Pepsi and the Campbell Soup Company. Dana holds a B.S. in Marketing from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, an MBA from Arizona State University, and the Certified Nonprofit Professional credential from the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance.
