Paul Burke is a technology strategist with a passion for leveraging innovation to drive social impact. As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the Franciscan Friars, Paul spearheads initiatives that harness the power of technology to address pressing social challenges and empower communities that the Friars serve around the country.
With a 15-year track record in the nonprofit sector, Paul has demonstrated a commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technologies to advance the organization's mission. From implementing data-driven solutions to optimizing digital infrastructure, Paul is dedicated to maximizing efficiency and effectiveness across all aspects of operations.
Beyond his role as CTO, Paul Burke is also a Licensed Clinical Social worker and through his work at the St. Francis Counseling service, he stays connected to populations that the friar’s serve, focusing on the addictions.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in piano performance at Goddard College, studied system and database design at The University of San Diego, California and holds an Masters of Social Work from Fordham University in New York City. Over the past 25 years, Paul has gained a deep understanding of technology trends and best practices in the non-profit sector both as a technology leader and a social worker. He continues to stay at the forefront of technological advancements, actively engaging with industry peers and thought leaders to drive innovation and foster collaboration.
