Andrea Jarrell Communications Strategies
Andrea Jarrell has led brand and campaign messaging strategy for over 100 institutions and organizations including Carnegie Mellon University, The Central Park Conservancy, Columbia University, MIT Libraries, The Music Center of Los Angeles County, The Natural History Museums of LA County, The New York Public Library, NYU, The Old Globe Theatre, Oregon State University, Southern Environmental Law Center, Stanford University, Swarthmore College, Walker Art Center, Wellesley College, Wesleyan University, The Wharton School, Williams College, and Yale University among other clients.
An architect of transformative strategies, Jarrell specializes in clarifying an organization’s essential call to action and inspiring the right people to act. She has designed, led, and developed numerous pivotal brand platforms and campaigns as well as content strategy and development for film, digital, and social media. In partnering with clients, she helps build long-lasting communications capacity within organizations, teams, and individuals.
Jarrell holds a B.A. from Scripps College and an M.F.A. in Writing and Literature from Bennington College. A VCCA Fellow and graduate of Seth Godin’s altMBA, she has contributed to several books on brand strategy and fundraising communications. Her essays have appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Harper’s Bazaar, The Huffington Post, Literary Hub, The Christian Science Monitor, and CASE CURRENTS magazine, among many other sites and publications. A Los Angeles native, she now lives in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
