Rachel is a UK fundraising professional currently based in the US and has over 15 years industry experience in helping charities build retention through long term strategies and donor experience. She has achieved impressive results working at a senior level in Individual Giving at a number of charities in the UK at a national, international and local level and has led donor development and donor acquisition programs of varying sizes. More recently, she has worked extensively with global charities in Europe, Canada, and the US.
For the last five years, Rachel has been working with Blakely developing insight-based solutions, value propositions and journeys to enhance income and deepen Donor Experience.
Rachel’s background in Direct Marketing and tenacious interest in insight, behavioural economics and psychology gives her a powerful toolbox to problem solve and create solutions based on more than assumption and best practice. Keeping one eye on the commercial sector and translating successful strategies to the not for profit world, she is also passionate about change within the sector and supporting organizations to think differently, push harder and try new approaches to increase long term income. She is an experienced international speaker and member of AFP and the Institute of Fundraising (UK).
