Sara Hogan

Senior Development Manager
Marine Corps Heritage Foundation

Sara is the Senior Development Manager for the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation, which supports the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Quantico, VA.
Over the course of her 13 years with the Foundation, Sara has worked on nearly every aspect of fundraising from gift data entry and acknowledgments to donor services and direct mail programming to planned giving and major gifts. As a student of psychology and consumer behavior, she takes great interest in exploring tests and messaging to determine what most appeals to current donors, and what most attracts and engages new donors. Since launching the Foundation’s new digital eCRM Sara has been working to create a multichannel donor communications strategy that integrates the dynamic online forms and targeted emails of the digital platform with the Foundation’s website, social media, direct mail, and personal engagement.
Sara has three grown children and currently lives in Virginia with her husband, a retired Marine, and their two Labrador Retrievers.
