Lisa Hunter has been part of the Boys & Girls Club Movement for 31 years. She joined Boys & Girls Clubs of America in November 2014 serving as Director, Organizational Development for the Northeast Region. In 2019 Lisa moved to the Resource Development Club Services team as a Director of Club Consulting and in 2022 was promoted to Senior Director overseeing a team of consultants serving the Eastern half of the United States.
Lisa’s certifications include her CFRE (Certified Fundraising Professional, Strategic Planning Professional certification through the Association of Strategic Planning, and is a certified Executive Coach
Prior to joining Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Lisa served as the Chief Executive Officer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany, NY taking a club in crisis and turning it into a thriving organization with a 50% increase in revenue over three years. During this time the organization expanded their partnership with local school districts increasing the amount of youth served.
Lisa is a Woodruff Fellow, graduating with a Masters in Human Resource Development from Clemson University. She is also a member of The Professional Association Board of Directors, Member of the Academy of Boys & Girls Club Professionals, Distinguished Level, and has also served as a faculty member supporting BGCA’s Executive Advanced Leadership Program.
Lisa is a constant advocate for youth, not only through Boys & Girls Clubs but also through her involvement with the Galway Players Community Theater organization where she currently serves as Vice President of their Board of Directors.
