Stephen Knight has been serving in nonprofit communications for 20+ years. He currently serves as the Director of Communications for JustLeadershipUSA (JLUSA), one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit criminal justice reform organizations that is both founded by and led by formerly incarcerated people. Prior to joining JLUSA, he served as special assistant to Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II and Communications Manager for Repairers of the Breach, the social justice organization founded and led by Bishop Barber. During this time, he also served as National Faith Organizer, mobilizing people of faith to the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival, among other projects for Bishop Barber.
