Sandy Shin is an accomplished marketing and communication professional with over 30 years of experience. She has worked for highly recognized corporations and institutions including IBM, Disney, Baskin-Robbins, Kinkos, UCLA and USC. She has developed comprehensive marketing campaigns and programs across both traditional and digital channels of communications. Her expertise in brand management has raised the visibility and reputation of several organizations. She has had responsibility for creating customer engagement and enhancing the customer experience across all touch points. She has a passion for storytelling and amplifying diverse voices.
She presently is Vice President of Marketing & Communications for Braille Institute of America, a non-profit that serves more than 25,000 adult, youth and children who are blind or visually impaired. She has responsibility for marketing and communications strategy and channel management, expanding awareness of programs and services, as well as elevating the brand. She is a member of the executive leadership team and advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors. In 2019, she launched Braille Institute’s Centennial campaign and rebranding efforts.
She holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in marketing from the University of Southern California (USC) and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She is a native of Southern California.
