Don Fulford, is a dynamic leader driven by faith and compassion. As the first lay President & CEO of the Association of the Miraculous Medal, he harnesses his diverse experiences to ignite transformative movements within the community. With a bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky, a master's degree from Western Kentucky University, and certificates in Leading Change and Organizational Renewal from Stanford University School of Business, as well as in Management, Innovation, and Technology from MIT Sloan Business School, Don is equipped with a multifaceted skill set that transcends traditional boundaries.
Don's unconventional journey encompasses a rich tapestry of accomplishments. Previously, as CEO of Feeding America Kentucky's Heartland, he spearheaded groundbreaking initiatives to combat hunger and uplift the marginalized. Moreover, his tenure as Executive Director of the John Cleveland Foundation/Life Adventure Center allowed him to channel his passion for the outdoors, foundations and experiential learning. Recognized for his profound dedication, creative ideas and positive work cultures, Don served as Governor Steve Beshear's appointed member of the Agricultural Commodities Advisory Committee for the state of Kentucky, leveraging his expertise to promote sustainable practices for feeding programs rooted in compassion.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Don stands as a beacon of service within his community. A founding board member of Missouri's National Veterans Memorial and Perry County Community Foundation, he forges bonds of solidarity that transcend differences. Furthermore, his active participation on the boards of Bank of Missouri, Citizens Electric Corporation, VMY International, and Perryville Development Corporation exemplifies his commitment to fostering sustainable growth and prosperity. Grounded in his deep-rooted values, Don is a devoted husband and loving father to two children, further fueling his desire to create a world where compassion and spirituality converge.
