Veronique Diriker, Ph.D., CFRE is the Chief Advancement Officer at the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore. She has worked in fundraising and advancement for over 30 years as the Regional Director of a nonprofit organization; the Director of Development of an HBCU, and the Assistant Vice President/Campaign Director of a premier medical school. Her professional experiences include Strategic Planning, Development; Higher Education Teaching; Public Policy Analysis & Consulting; Non-Profit Management and Leadership; Program Development; Outcomes Assessment and Program Evaluation, and Community Outreach.
She has been credited with creating a high level of institutional visibility for the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore through personal contacts, publications, and presentations. Veronique has served in various leadership roles with community-based organizations such as Board Chair, President, Vice President and Board Member. She strongly believes in being engaged with the community in which she lives and works. Veronique is the recipient of several awards, including the Maryland Top 100 Women Award, National French Honor Society Award, and the Public Health Leader Award for Wicomico County. Veronique is a long-time member of AFP.
