Abigayle has been recognized as a dominating positive influence throughout her career, bringing a vast knowledge of personal development, industry processes, and scalable solutions and delivering a distinct advantage that sets her apart from other leaders. Her experience encompasses advancing RACP grants amounting to $2.5M and implementing innovative strategies, including streamlined processes, direct mail campaigns, and digital outreach, collectively contributing to $1.2M. Abigayle lays the foundation for meaningful relationships.
Early in her career, from 2002 to 2003, Abigayle was the Program Services Coordinator for Camp Fire USA Green Country Council in Tulsa, Oklahoma, She managed volunteer and paid club leaders serving over 500 youth programs. She was the recipient of the Charlotte Joy Farnsworth Award for Excellence. From 2004 to 2006, Abigayle performed as the Development Associate for Price Towers Art Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She developed a proposal for foundation and individual support, including grant writing.
>From 2005 to 2006, Abigayle was the Director of Development for the
Cherokee National Historical Society, Inc. in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She shaped the overall image and implemented strategies to differentiate the organization. In 2006, Abigayle launched a premier consulting firm, Innovative Development and Management Services, LLC, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She provides comprehensive campaign leadership and strategic fund development services, raising millions of dollars for numerous organizations.
>From 2016 to 2021, Abigayle functioned as the Executive Director for
the North Allegheny Foundation in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was the inaugural employee revitalizing the organization, raising funds for 8.5K students within the school district. In 2021, Abigayle embarked on a new journey serving as Vice President of Philanthropy and Communications for Verland in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. She paves the way by raising $840K in the initial year and $3.7M in the first full fiscal year by rebranding and modernizing the 45-year legacy non-profit organization. Abigayle achieved a 344% growth in funds raised and formed trustworthy and strategic relationships.
Abigayle holds a Master of Nonprofit Management (MNM) degree from Regis University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa. She has also completed numerous professional development courses, including the Certified Fundraising Executive Certification from CFRE International, Major Gift Intensive Coaching from Gail Perry and Fired Up! Fundraising, Master Trainer Course from the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and Grant Professionals Certification from Grant Professionals Certification Institute (Inactive).
Abigayle volunteers at multiple professional affiliations, serving as President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Western PA Chapter, a Member of the Pittsburgh Planned Giving Council since 2023, Board Member of Laura’s Light since 2023, AFP Certified Facilitator of the Association of Fundraising Professionals since 2008, and National Board of Directors, National Liaison to Girl Scouts USA, Section 32 Chair, and Alumni Volunteer for Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity since 2002.
